How technology affect culture
For example Christmas, now our Christmas would be so much fun, with all the beautiful set ups, LCD projectors making a simulated Rudolph, lighted up balloon Santa clauses. For those who had missed the beautiful scene, we could also use a video cam tape it up and show them later. If it was far back in the 60s everyone’s Christmas would almost be the same, everyone would get back and sit around the Christmas tree, sing a Christmas song , get their presents and that’s about it. People now are so much luckier getting to enjoy beautiful LCD projected scenes, people don’t actually see how much work those people that created this put in, and everything is just taken for granted. Having the cell phone or internet too, which people couldn’t live without it, it brings so much convenience. If its for last time, to get a massage to someone, they could only send a postcard. But now, its just a phone call away or if it was some documents, an email or fax will do. Today, business meetings doesn’t have to be everyone around the world leaving home or traveling for a few days meeting up somewhere and traveling all the way back. Its so much easier now with teleconferencing, everyone is just a call away and the meeting could be started. With technology these days everything could be done so much easier.
